Why? The Orpheum is going to be an incredible venue to see Explosions in the Sky on their ominously named THE END TOUR.

Why? Dubbing the tour the One Year Reveal on Wheels (named after his new, stripped down album), this is going to be an intimate one with the singer!

Why? Always amazing to see another live performance at the iconic Malkin Bowl. This one with SNRK is going to be amazing rain or shine!

Why? Fucked Up is returning to town to perform their new album “Another Day” live. This will be a sweaty one, so dress stay hydrated!

I'm sure by now, you've seen a number of Top Whatever lists. Best of '016. But, let’s face it... no one cares about lists. At best, you glance at it with a vague sense of disagreement. 
And that’s where The 3am Awards come in. In lieu of a list, I give you the moment you didn't even realise you've been waiting for:

The First Annual 3am Awards
Awarded for Outstanding Musical Musicianship in the Field of Music

The awards takes a look at this year in music and honours the deserving songs, albums, videos, and artists in the form of randomly named award categories, as chosen by Jess, Christine, and myself. And even though the categories may be a little glib (to say the least) these are legitimately some of our favourites of the year.

Why? One of the greatest live shows I have ever seen was EITS at the Vogue. So you better be going to one of the two upcoming shows (Sunday is already sold out!)
