We usually would be bringing you some of our picks for concerts to attend in Vancouver this upcoming weekend/week - but since we’re all social distancing (YOU GET IN THAT APARTMENT!), we figured we’d bring you a list of virtual concerts instead.

Who? Chromeo, Zeds Dead & Others

Why? Looking for DJ sets to come through the speakers in your living room?…the “Room Service Festival” might be just for you. I spotted Zeds Dead at 8:10pm and Chromeo on the schedule for Saturday at 8:30PM, but it’s two full days of sets starting at noon today.

SATURDAY APRIL 25

Who? Dan Mangan

Why? After rescheduling his upcoming tour, Dan Mangan took to the web for a series of Saturday afternoon shows on his Side Door platform. For $6 you can join a virtual intimate living room show, with proceeds going to a good cause.

Why? The former Barenaked Lady takes to the streams for a show on Saturday. No doubt he’ll be playing his latest single, "Isolation," inspired by life in the lockdown.

Why? Hey Ocean’s David Beckingham is playing his second of three Saturday afternoon shows this weekend, teasing some newer songs that have yet to be recorded.

Why? Jill Barber is going to be performing her (excellent) album Chances front to back, straight from her living room. She’s promising an “intimate and interactive virtual experience” as she tells stories and answers questions as well.
