Gigs Of The Week: March 25 - 31, 2016

Every Friday 3am Revelations give you our picks for some of the fantastic live shows happening in and around our city of Vancouver.
There's much more going on all the time, which you can check out in our concert calendar.

Kirk's Pick

Who? Radio Radio with Kaylee Johnston
Where? Biltmore Cabaret
When? Saturday, March 26
Why? Not only am I excited to see the Acadian hip-hop duo live for the first time, but I'm also pretty happy to (finally) see Kaylee Johnson play some of her own songs!

Christine's Pick

Who? Wintersleep
Where? Commodore Ballroom
When? Friday March 25 (aka Tonight!)
Why? Because it's Wintersleep! That's why. They switched from the Imperial to the Commodore last month and added Evening Hymns as openers, so it's guaranteed to be a popular one.

Jess's Pick

Who? Alessia Cara
Where? Vogue Theatre
When? Tuesday, March 29th
Why? I feel like if Alessia Cara was around when I was a teenager, my teenaged years would have been different. She sings incredible music that makes me think my generation - the dread millennials - aren't all the worst. Plus, she's playing the Vogue on her debut album tour - that's an impressive feat!
