Why? I love to throw a good comedy show in the mix in here, and with THREE shows to choose from, you can’t go wrong with John Mulaney at a beautiful theatre. I think we could all use some laughs right now.

When? Friday, August 5 (tonight!)
Why? This year’s Vancouver Mural Festival kicks off this weekend, and includes a free show at the City Center Hub with Matt Storm, Clear Mortifee, Francis Arevalo, Sadé Awele, and Maya & Ben.

Why? There was a lot of (not unwarranted) hubbub surrounding the Red Truck Concert Series this year, but I'll be heading there this Saturday to support the only women playing the entire thing, Nice Horse, for their FIRST Vancouver show ever!
