Langley / Vancouver band Derrival have combined their music artistry with nonsense imaginations and created a specimen of hilarious beauty. Their new video for "Canvas" was released today in anticipation of their upcoming EP Departure and Arrival - due Aug 21. It will have you rooting for a romance, fearing the looming disaster, cheering for the team of rockstar power rangers, and awkwardly looking away from the crotch-shot. That's right, it's got everything.

The song itself reminds me of a mix between Phoenix and Bloc Party, the boppin' upbeat tune hopefully is an indicator of the good times ahead for them on tour this summer, with a homecoming show at Venue in Vancouver at the end of September.
