The music festivals are coming!
While the lineup of festivals is ever changing, one thing is for sure, there is something for everyone and TONS to choose from.

Here we break down the festivals for you: dates, locations, lineups, and any big info you need to know.

As the festival lineups are announced, we'll continue to add to this list! They'll be in chronological order, and we'll take down the festivals after they happen - so that you can plan your summer weekends accordingly. Bookmark the page, and check back often!

What: Burnaby Blues and Roots Festival
When: August 6, 2016
Where: uh, that would be Burnaby, BC - Deer Lake Park
Who Is Performing: Colin James, Frazey Ford, Lindi Ortega, Shred Kelly, Michael Bernard Fitzgerald, Dawn Pemberton, Ben Rogers
What Do You Need To Know: The festival takes place at Deer Lake Park, which is outdoors and thus rain or shine, so pack accordingly for your day!

What: Ponderosa Festival
When: August 19-21, 2016
Where: Rock Creek, BC
Who Is Performing: Timber Timbre, Black Mountain, The Pack A.D., Harpaxe, The Belle Game, Royal Canoe and more
What Do You Need To Know: Another camping festival in Rock Creek (40mins east of Osoyoos), with a stellar lineup. They even have bus passes from Vancouver so you don't have to drive yourself there, and VIP tours in the area.

What: Otalith Festival
When: August 19-20, 2016
Where: Ucluelet, BC
Who Is Performing: Shakey Graves, Fidlar, Vinyl Ritchie, Band of Rascals, and more, just check the poster below!
What Do You Need To Know: Camping at this small festival is key. The grounds are right beside where the stage is, and spaces are limited, so if you're interested, get on it ASAP. And while you're at it, save a day before or after the festival to experience the towns of Ucluelet and Tofino since you're out there already!

What: Atmosphere Gathering Music Festival
When: August 19-21, 2016
Where: Cumberland, BC
Who Is Performing: Dehli2Dublin, Miss Quincy, Frazey Ford & more
What Do You Need To Know: Aside from the music, there are other artistic elements to the festival including circus arts and live performance. There is camping on site for the festival and tickets are on sale HERE.

What: PNE Summer Concert Series & Mosaic Music Series
When: August 20 - September 5, 2016
Where: Vancouver, BC - PNE Grounds
Who Is Performing: The Sheepdogs, Monster Truck, A Tribe Called Red
What Do You Need To Know: The Mosaic Music Series has yet to announce their lineup (which usually consists of Vancouver and Canadian acts), but the Summer Nights Concert lineup has been released and includes some cancon favourites. The shows are free with admission to the fair, so check the lineup out and pick your day. We'll update when the Mosaic list is out too.

What: Rifflandia Festival
When: September 15-18, 2016
Where: Victoria, BC
Who Is Performing: Jurassic 5, Wolf Parade, Band Of Skulls, We Are The City, Michael Bernard Fitzgerald, Prozzak, Operators, Royal Wood, The Elwins
What Do You Need To Know: This is only the second wave of artists to be announced, so be sure to keep an eye out/come back here as more of the performers are announced. The festival takes place in Victoria, with shows at Royal Athletic Park during the day, and in the clubs & makeshift venues in the evenings. You'll want to get your hotel bookings for this one sooner rather than later.
