Why? The sting of not going to Rifflandia this weekend is softened by the fact that the #1 band I was going to see will be playing a show of their very own at the Fox Cabaret on Saturday. If you, like me, are not going over to the island, the only acceptable course of action is to see The Dears.

Where? Victoria, BC
When? Sept 17-20, 2015 (aka it's happening now!)
Why? HUGE lineup that includes all of the Break Out West shows as well. Modest Mouse, Mother Mother, Chromeo, Arkells, and SO many more over 4 days. Literally, there are SO MANY bands. Check it out.
